The 3rd creative documentary film festival MakeDox is calling for entries for the traveling cinema caravan across the Republic of Macedonia, 2-11 August 2012.
Striving to not only promote the documentary film but also to decentralize the culture on national level, MakeDox will organize, as it did last year, open air film screenings in six Macedonian municipalities.
The Festival also has competitive sections and non-competitive programs open for new documentary films of all running times, topics, style and production technologies.
MakeDox 2012 is Calling for Fresh Creative Documentary Films
MakeDox, an international film festival organized by the citizen’s association MakeDox, aims to promote creative documentary film production in the Republic of Macedonia and to support documentary story telling in general.
MakeDox focuses on creating a stimulating environment for the exchange of experience and knowledge of documentary creation and promotion of films with cinematographic quality, offering the creative point of view of an author, both in terms of content as well as in form.
Documentary films of all running times, topics, style and production technologies can be submitted. However, only the films completed and/or publicly screened after 1 January 2010 can participate in the competition program.
The deadline is short but there’s still time to use MakeDox to promote your works!
To enter MakeDox 2012 you need to fill out and email the official entry form and send two preview copies of your film to the organizers of the Festival.
We personally had a chance to be a part of the 2nd MakeDox film festival. It was time well spent! Lot’s of young filmmakers received recognition and prizes.
