MakeDox, the annual International Creative Documentary Film Festival of Macedonia is calling for submissions for 2014. This year marks the 5th edition of MakeDox and the festival is once again open for new creative documentary films from all parts of the world.
MakeDox supports documentary storytelling in general and aims to promote creative documentary film production in the Republic of Macedonia. It is a competitive festival, divided into five (5) different sections.
The following awards will be announced in June, 2014:
- Onion Award– for Best Film in the International Competition Program
- Young Onion Award – for Best Film by first or second-time director
- Onion Seed Award – for Best Short Film for children and youth
- Balkan Onion– for Best film in the Balkan Onion Program
Special awards can be given by the Festival, professional organizations, citizens associations, media, etc.
MakeDox 2014 will be held in June 2014 in Skopje, Macedonia and as a Travelling Cinema Caravan through six to ten (6-10) Macedonian municipalities during August 2014.
