PDP Convention is hosting two new international competitions for students. The 5th annual PDP Congress will be dedicated to open access technologies, information, idea and art and so will PDP’s Poster Design and the Individual Photography contests.
Students around the world are invited to submit up to three works on the subject of “Open Access” as either poster designs or photographs.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the best entries and the winners will become part of the 5th PDP Convention – Open PDP5 – scheduled for 29-31 May 2012.

The 5th Annual PDP Congress – Open PDP5 – will be dedicated to Open Access. By Open Access, the organizers mean the free, immediate, availability on the public Internet of those works which scholars give to the world without expectation of payment – permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software or use them for any other lawful purpose.
This should guide students while creating their works.
All authors of works presented at the exhibition will receive a certificate confirming their participation in the congress.
