Now in its 10th and final year (in its current form) the Poster for Tomorrow competition – themed: A Planet for Tomorrow, will soon open for entries for 2018. To celebrate the last nine years of the competition and look towards to the future, the organizers have chosen to make this year’s theme one that affects all our futures: the environment. As in previous years, the best 100 posters will become part of a worldwide exhibition, this time scheduled to open on 16th September 2018, on the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer.

The 4 Tomorrow Association has announced the Poster for Tomorrow 2016 competition and published this year’s creative brief on the theme “Make Extremism History“. Poster for Tomorrow 2016 is about the extremes in society, politics, the environment, the distribution of wealth and every issue that we face as a world, not just religious extremism. About the individuals who dominate public debate simply by shouting the loudest and listening the least, who leave little room for debate or any shades of opinion except for right or wrong and me versus you. About climate change deniers, people who refuse to let refugees into their country or anyone who discriminates on the basis of gender, nationality, sexual preference or religion. The Call for Entries opens 10 March 2016 and closes after four (4) months, on 10 July 2016. Out of all received posters, one hundred (100) will be selected and exhibited around the world.

Every year poster for tomorrow chooses a basic human right to address. In 2015 it’s the universal right to healthcare. In 2015 poster for tomorrow will send the call out to graphic designers and students to create a poster to raise awareness of the universal right to healthcare. As shown by President Obama’s on-going struggles with the Affordable Care Act, healthcare is a major issue even in the world’s richest countries.

Work Right! is the 6th annual Poster for Tomorrow competition and dedicated to everybody’s right to fair and equal employment. Poster for tomorrow has just announced its 5th annual call for entries for social communication poster designs. The project has been running its yearly contest since 2009 and this year topic will be the right to housing. The objective is to meet and, hopefully, surpass the outstanding 3000+ entries from 105 countries received for last year’s competition. An international panel of 100 online jury members will shortlist received entries, while 12 jurors will meet in Paris next October to judge the 100 best posters entries. These will make up the exhibition and catalogue that will be displayed worldwide next 10 December, International Human Rights Day and third edition of “A day for tomorrow”. Poster for Tomorrow Announces 2013 Call for Entries, Themed: A Home for Everyone‘Home’ means something different to all of us. The place where we grew up, the place where we live at the moment, the place we come to relax or entertain our friends after work. But for far too many people home remains a distant dream, a place to aspire to, as they try to eke out an existence in sub-standard accommodation or sleep rough on the streets because they have nowhere else to go.
