All short and feature animated films completed after 1 January 2015 are eligible for submission. The best animated films will be awarded in a total of five (5) competition categories – four (4) for short films and one (1) for feature films. The total cash prize fund for 2016 is 9,500 Euro, of which 5,000 Euro are reserved for the Grand Prix awards for the best short and feature animated films.

The 2015 Call for Submissions of the World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb has just been announced and the Festival is seeking for animated films from any part of the world. For the first time since its establishment, Animafest Zagreb merges the feature and short edition and for its upcoming, integrated edition in 2015 announces screenings of animated films of all lengths. After ten years of taking it in turns biennially, 2015 marks a turning point in the festival concept, which will from now on give a complete overview of contemporary animated world production of short and feature films on the annual basis.
