The Lumen Prize is calling all artists engaging with technology to prepare their best work and enter the competition for 2025. The Lumen Prize celebrates the very best art created with technology through a global competition. These are the nine categories you may enter in 2025, each with a $2,000 prize. 50-75 artists will become finalists, whose work will then be reviewed and selected by the Jury Panel. Each year the Jury also selects one Gold Award Winner, who is determined to have created the best work across all categories. In 2025, the Gold Award Winner will be awarded $12,000.

All art is eligible as long as it engages with technology in some form. These are the five categories which you may enter in 2024, each with a $1,500 prize. Up to 70 artists will become finalists, whose work will then be reviewed by the Jury Panel. There are nine total awards, with a collective prize fund of $18,000.

The Lumen Prize celebrates the very best art created digitally by artists around the world. Its goal is to celebrate the power and potential of this exciting genre through an annual competition and global tour of works selected by an eminent panel of judges. The 2016 competition will offer prizes worth $11,000. Shortlisted and winning works will become part of the global Lumen tour and will be exhibited in London, Shanghai, New York City and Caerphilly Castle Wales. The tour will also include one-night Lumen Highlight events in London, Swansea and Cardiff.
