Piemonte Visual Contest is a competition to collect and implement visualization proposals based on public data, concerning the activities of the Piemonte (Piedmont) region in Italy.
Telling the story of Piemonte (Piedmont) by leveraging public data heritage – that is the goal of Consiglio Regionale del Piemonte and Top-Ix Consortium, promoters of the Contest in collaboration with the Open Data Board of the Regione Piemonte Directorate of Innovation.
The best entry in each of the two competition categories (Infographic and Data Visualization) will be awarded 2,500 Euro! There are money prizes for the second the third best entries as well!
The competition is open to citizens, associations, communities of developers and/or designers (graphic and web), schools and companies within the European Union.
The projects must be based on data concerning social, economical and environmental aspects of Piemonte (Piedmont). The only rule is to use public data sets!
The projects will be evaluated by a jury of external experts and winners will be invited to the final event in Turin.
