The 16th edition of the Prisma Art Prize is now accepting entries. Prisma Art Prize is an art contest born to promote emerging painters and visual artists.
As an international platform, it showcases a diverse and inclusive array of paintings, drawings, and engravings, reflecting the myriad possibilities of these mediums.
The organizer’s goal is to act as a prism that reveals the spectrum of artistic expression.
Il Varco hosts four quarterly art competitions with:
- 2,300 Euro prize money every year
- over 3,000 Euro in partners’ awards
- the possibility to take part in the collective exhibition in December 2024 at the Contemporary Cluster in Rome – a beacon in the international contemporary art scene
- the chance to get a solo show organized by Isorrophia Gallery and the Pallavicini-Dettori Home Gallery and
- to win a two weeks residency at Dar Meso, in the very heart of Tunisi and three-week residency for two artists at Casacon Sirolo, Italy.
Works of painting, drawing, and engraving of any size and on any medium are allowed. The competition is open to artists without limitation of age or place of origin.

Prisma Art Prize – Rome – 16th Edition – Submission Fee
The submission fee is 29 Euro (for 1-3 paintings). You can submit up to 5 additional works at a price of 5 Euro per piece.
