RSA Student Design Awards 2016/2017 Competition

Registration has recently opened for the 2016/2017 competition cycle of the RSA Student Design Awards.

RSA wants to empower a generation of savvy, employable graduates who realize the potential of design to benefit society. It challenges students and recent graduates to tackle pressing social, environmental and economic issues through design thinking.

Winners are rewarded with cash prizes, paid industry placements, complementary RSA Fellowship and a range of other benefits to kick-start their careers. Different cash prizes are available for each brief.

The 2016/2017 competition includes twelve (12) different briefs that bring together a range of thematic research areas, notably:

  • Life-long learning and development
  • Sustainability and the circular economy
  • Fostering a more inclusive, tolerant society
  • Empowering people to live longer, healthier lives

The competition is open to current students and new graduates from anywhere in the world. Both individual and group entries are eligible.

Submissions can be entered from 18th January 2017 to 8th March 2017!

The RSA Student Design Awards is a global curriculum and competition for emerging designers that’s been running since 1924.
