The SCHLINGEL International Children’s Film Festival is calling for entries for its 18th edition, scheduled for 14-20 October 2013 in Chemnitz, Germany. The Festival conceives itself as a platform for brand new international children’s and youth films in Germany.
Directors, producers and distributors from all over the world are cordially invited to sign up for the 18th International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience.
Eleven experts, children’s and youth juries award prizes with a total value of 30,000 Euros!
The 18th SCHLINGEL International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience Calls for Entries for 2013
Only children and youth feature, short and animated films completed after 1 January 2012 can apply for the competitions. For screening purpose, a DVD copy of the film with German or English subtitles is necessary.
In October 2012 the 17th SCHLINGEL inspired all cineasts. 103 productions from 36 countries were screened. In total 14 prices worth overall about 30.000 Euro were awarded by 10 juries.
