The Type Directors Club’s TDC67 and 24TDC, the biggest and most respected awards in the world of type design and typography, are now open for entries.
TDC67, the Type Directors Club 67th annual international competition, recognizes typographic excellence and innovation, while maintaining its ongoing commitment to the art and craft of typography and design.
Established in 1955, TDC’s Communication Design competition celebrates the aesthetics and implementation of typography and lettering across a wide variety of media. From the script on a poster to the tagline on a billboard, from the opening titles of a film to the text in an app, from a company’s wordmark to the coolest T-shirt in your closet, TDC67 is a vast amusement park where letters, numerals, and symbols come to play.
The 24th edition of TDC’s Typeface Design competition focuses on how letterforms are drawn, and celebrates new typeface designs in all global languages. Both competitions have professional and student categories, and receive entries from more than 60 countries.
Open to anyone worldwide. To be eligible, work must have been produced or published in the 2020 calendar year.
