The Great Indoors Award 2015 is an international, biennial, interior design created to raise the profile of non-residential interior design.
The competition is being held for the fifth time and this year is themed “Forever Now“, focusing on the question of our relationship to the now (and the new).
Four prizes of 5,000 Euro will be awarded for the most innovative interior designs for public and commercial spaces in each of the competition categories.
Only non-residential interiors or interior installations will be considered for the Award. Only projects realized between September 2013 and August 2015 are eligible for participation.
The 2015 Great Indoors Award competition includes the following categories:
- Show & Sell (Retail: shops, showrooms, trade-fair stands, exhibitions)
- Relax & Consume (Leisure: hotels, bars, clubs, restaurants, spas, wellness centers)
- Concentrate & Collaborate (Work: offices, studios, administration buildings, conference centers)
- Serve & Facilitate (Public: libraries, hospitals, theatres, schools)
Winners will be announced at an award ceremony in Maastricht, the Netherlands on 30-31 October 2015. One representative from each nominated firm will be invited to attend the award ceremony at the organization’s expense.
The Great Indoors Award competition is hosted by Frame Publishers (Amsterdam), Stichting Bureau Europa (Maastricht) and Stichting Marres, House for Contemporary Culture (Maastricht).

For each project you sign up with, you are required to pay a fee of 145 Euro.
