To promote the exercise of good design, MUMEDI, the Mexican Museum of Design, represented by the MUMEDI Foundation, is calling for entries for the “To Death with a Smile” 2017-2018 International Poster Contest.
The subject is death, a personal consideration or approach, the meaning in your own culture, how we fear, celebrate or deal with it. It can be reflected in serious or playful way in a freestyle technique.
A selection of the best 300 to 500 posters will be exhibited at MUMEDI, from October 2017 to March 2018 in the Downtown area of Mexico City. In the month of February 2018 a special selection of some of the best posters will be exhibited in Finland at the Lahti Poster Museum.
The best three (3) designs will be awarded with different Apple products.
Submitted posters should be vertical and sized 60 x 90 cm.
Each participant or group of participants can enter up to three (3) entries.
MUMEDI invites designers, students, teachers, professionals and anyone interested in the subject, from any part of the world, to participate.
