Videoex – International Experimental Film & Video Festival Zurich – Switzerland’s only festival dedicated to experimental film and video has started accepting entries for its International and Swiss competitions for 2013.
The total prize fund for this edition is 4000 Swiss Franc or that’s more than 3000 Euro.
The 2013 Videoex festival will be held in Zurich at Kunstraum Walcheturm and Cinema Z3, 24 May through 2 June, 2013.
Videoex 2013 Has Started Accepting Entries for its International and Swiss Competitions
Started in 1998, Videoex presents a large variety of contemporary and experimental films and videos, retrospectives and thematic programs as well as live acts, installations, discussions and workshops. The festival includes an international film competition, a Swiss film competition and the presentation of works from a featured city.
The Festival provides a forum for filmmakers, video artists, curators and their audience to gather and explore the perception of images, different aesthetic strategies and new ways of using technology in experimental film and video works.
The organizers are looking for:
- experimental films (35mm / 16mm / 8mm),
- videos (experimental,videoart, essay,….)
- innovative animations,
- experimental digital & graphic productions (to be screened),
- experimental documentaries & innovative music videos.
Important: only works produced after 1 October 2011 are applicable.
