Jeffrey Leder Gallery – a supportive space for artists at varying points in their careers – is calling for submissions for an upcoming juried exhibition called “Works on Paper NYC”.
The Exhibition is open to all artists, American and International, who have created work on a paper medium and it celebrates the range of paper.

“Works on Paper NYC” – A Juried Exhibition for Artworks on A Paper Medium
Working on paper has expanded from preparatory sketches for painting or sculpture to now being respected artwork unto itself. From drawing, painting, printmaking to photography, works on paper is a varied, exciting and versatile medium. Jeffrey Leder Gallery is now inviting you to take part in a juried exhibition for these specific types of artworks.
All submitted works for “Works on Paper NYC” should be ready to hang on a wall for the exhibition, for example: pieces equipped with D-rings and wire, or mounted on sturdy substrate material equipped with a hanging system.
Another important requirement is that all artworks submitted must be no larger than 4 feet in any direction.
Here is the updated schedule:
- 29 May 2012: Submission postmark deadline
- 8 June 2012: Notification of accepted art
- 16 June 2012: Artwork delivered to gallery
- 24 June 2012: “Works on Paper NYC” Exhibit opening reception
- Exhibition from 24 June to 15 July, 2012

Entry Fee
The entry fee is $40 for up to 5 images, $10 for each additional image entered.
