Now in its 11th year, the Bucharest International Jazz Competition has opened the registration for 2017 and all jazz instrumentalists and vocalists, no older than 40, are invited to participate.
The competition consists of three rounds of judging, during which the initial selection is made and, semi-finalists and winner are announced. Participants which qualify for the 2nd and 3rd rounds include will be required to perform live on several occasions.
The total value of the prizes for 2017 is 7,000 Euro, of which 1,200 Euro are reserved for the Grand Prize Winner.
Bucharest International Jazz Competition 2017 is scheduled for 13–20 May.
The Competition debuted in 2007 and is now ranked as the second jazz contest in Europe and the third in the world. It is organized by jmEvents and takes place during the International Festival EUROPAfest in Romania.

The registration fee for one application/group is 120 Euro.
