Warsaw Ghetto Museum, in cooperation with The Association of Professional Polish Graphic Designers (STGU), announces an international Visual Identity Competition. In the first stage, of this two stage competition, based on the submitted portfolios, the Jury will select five authors (graphic studios, individual designers) that will qualify for the second stage. In the second stage, selected authors will prepare initial concepts of WGM visual identity, based on which, the Competition Chapter will select the winner. The main prize is a commission for creating and implementing a visual identification for the Museum. The value of the commission (main prize) is 35,000 PLN.

The International Artist Grand Prize Competition (I.A.G.P.C.), one of Asia’s top art contests, is looking for masterpieces to exhibit on the Art Revolution Taipei (A.R.T.) 2020 fair. I.A.G.P.C. is open to all artists over 18 years old. All medium are acceptable except video and installation. After the juror’s selection, all accepted entries will be exhibited for sale in the A.R.T. 2020 fair. Furthermore, the winners among finalists will be awarded free space in A.R.T. 2021.

NEWH, the hospitality industry network, is accepting submissions for 2019-2020, for the global Green Voice Design Competition: Adaptive Reuse Hotel Project. The competition provides Interior Design or Architecture students with the opportunity to showcase their design skills while utilizing the very best in sustainable design products and practices. One undergraduate and one graduate scholarship of $7,500 each, will be awarded to the best designers. Winners will be invited to HD Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, in May 2020.

Odessa Breeze is hosting its 4th International Contest of the Theatrical Poster and calling for works worldwide. The aim of the contest is the further development of theatrical poster as an art form, the strengthening of the international cultural ties, providing opportunities for participation for artists. The Jury will select about 70 posters for further exposition. The place and time of this exhibition are yet to be announced.

The 10th Call for Entries for the ICMA – International Creative Media Award is open for creative ideas worldwide. The ICMA provides an overview of four areas of contemporary graphic design: corporate media, corporate design, book and magazine design. There are awards in gold, silver and bronze. LensCulture is thrilled to announce the return of their Black & White Photography Awards and the call for entries for the 2019 competition. The organizers are seeking remarkable photographic work that plays with the dynamic relationship between light, dark and all the tones in between. Texture, shape, line and form are often hailed as the heroes of black and white photography. Show how you’re interpreting these design elements (or abandoning them altogether!) to create contemporary monochrome images and series. Through this competition, LensCulture aims to uncover photographers from diverse backgrounds and experience levels, and connect them with global audiences and career-changing opportunities. This year, the winners will be exhibited in New York City during the inaugural Paris Photo New York, an international fair dedicated to photography. A total of $15,000 will be also be awarded.

Now in its 10th year, the Worldwide Logo Design Award (WOLDA) competition is open for designs created between 1st January 2017 and 12th September 2019. Wolda is an international competition for logos and business stationery, which aims to honor the world’s best work in the area of logo design and business stationery. Gold, silver and bronze prizes will be awarded as main prizes. In addition, there are also the “Awards of Excellence” for outstanding individual achievements. The work which has been awarded by the jury will be published in a yearbook. Publications are also planned on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.

We have seen great advancement in the longevity innovation space, but new products and services far too often only reach the wealthiest people in a society. The Stanford Center on Longevity challenges students around the world to innovate to significantly reduce the cost of a design that will help people at all ages achieve long and healthy life outcomes.
