Alexia Foundation has recently scheduled the competition for its 2017 Grant cycle, to once again support professional and student photographers around the world.
The Foundation offers production grants to students and professional photographers to give them the financial ability to produce substantial stories that drive change in the effort to make the world a better place. Students also get scholarship opportunities.
The Professional Grant Winner will receive $20,000 (US) to produce his or her proposed project. Several different grants will be given out as part of the Student Awards to both undergraduate and graduate students.
Alexia Foundation Grants are created to support still photography projects, but you may also submit other story forms as part of your grant application submission. Those may include audio, motion, VR or any other visual format.
Alexia will start accepting applications for 2017 on 2nd January 2017!
The application deadline for Professional grants is 5 p.m. 29 January 2017. Student applications will be received until 5 p.m. on 14 February 2017.
