Online registration has been opened for the 2014 Furniture Design Award (FDA), the annual competition that celebrates the best achievements in furniture design.
As a project of SingaPlural, FDA 2014 invites you to explore your imagination and demonstrate your originality through its open call for submissions.
The Furniture Design Award is open to all Singapour based and international industrial designers for individual entries only. Students may enter as well.
The winning entries will be showcased and presented at SingaPlural 2014 – Celebrating Design in March, 2014, held in conjunction with the International Furniture Fair Singapore / ASEAN Furniture Show, The Décor Show and Hospitality 360⁰.
One winning design will be awarded with the FDA Grand Award consisting of SGD 10,000 in cash, a certificate, a trophy and 12sqm booth space in Platform 2015 at the International Furniture Fair in Singapore. FDA Honorable Mention, Merit and Best Use of Material Awards are also available.

Participation Fees
The participation fee is $40 for international designers and $15 for international students. Lower fees apply for designers and students from Singapour.
