The Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC) is accepting submissions for its annual Furniture Design Award (FDA) competition, for 2016.
The Award aims to uncover emerging design talents, while being open to both local and international participation. FDA aims to be a reputable showcase for the unique creations of the world’s best creative minds.
The Furniture Design Award (FDA) 2016 Grand Award includes S$20,000 in cash, certificate, trophy and 12 sqm exhibition booth at the International Furniture Fair Singapore (IFFS) 2017!
Certificates of participation will also be given to all finalists.
Participation is individual and entries must be original works of the entrant.
The Furniture Design Award (FDA) is an annual furniture design competition organized by the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC). It was first launched in 1993 and renamed to FDA in 2003.
Furniture Design Award (FDA) 2016 Participation Fees
A non-refundable participation fee of S$50 for local and locally-based (Singapore) designers, and $60 for international designers, are applicable respectively.
