Golden Bee Global Biennale of Graphic Design 2016

The Golden Bee Fund has opened the call for submissions for its 2016 Global Biennale of Graphic Design, seeking for posters and projects created between 2014 and 2016.

This year’s competition includes eight (8) categories and is open for posters of any type and genre, other digital design projects and handmade design projects, as well as posters dedicated to the pioneers of Russian design, Chernobyl, Fukushima, the work of Fyodor Dostoevsky and Dante Alighieri and mercy and forgiveness.

Selected works will become part of the Golden Bee 12 exhibition, scheduled for 4–9 October, 2016 at the Central House of Artists in Moscow, Russia.

Pre-Selection will be made based on digital submissions. Files for print or printed copies of works which pass Pre-Selection, will need to be sent by post.

Designers of the entries that pass the Pre-Selection will be informed by e-mail.

The results of the main selection will be published on 31 July 2016.

Submitted works remain in the Golden Bee Fund and won’t be returned.

The Golden Bee Biennale is organized by the Golden Bee Fund in association with Academy of Graphic Design, Moscow design studios and many other organizations and companies. It is supported by ICOGRADA (International Council of Graphic Design Associations) and IBCC (International Biennales Coordinating Committee).

Golden Bee was established in 1992. It was temporarily suspended in 2002 and renewed again in 2004.
