National Geographic Society is sponsoring yet another edition of its annual Photo Contest and currently accepting entries for 2013, from professional and amateur photographers around the world.
The National Geographic Photo Contest literally sets the standard for photographic excellence!
This year’s Grand Prize Winner will receive $10,000 and a trip to National Geographic headquarters in Washington, D.C., to participate in the annual National Geographic Photography Seminar in January 2014.
There are three (3) categories for entries – see below – and the number of entries per participant is unlimited.

- Places
- Nature
Last year, the organizers received more than 22,000 entries from over 150 countries, with professional photographers and amateur photo enthusiasts across the globe participating.

The entry fee is US $15 per entry.
