Omi International Arts Center is accepting application for 2017, for its annual international residency programs and invites artists from around the world to apply.
Omi seeks to foster an environment of creative exploration and exchange, professional opportunity and exposure, and a stylistically and culturally diverse community for creative artists from around the world.
This year a total of 95 artists will be invited to take part in several different Omi’s residency programs, in Columbia County, New York.
The following four distinct international residency programs are currently open for application until the noted deadlines:
- Architecture Omi – 21 November 2016
- Art Omi – 30 November 2016
- Music Omi – 2 January 2017
- Dance Omi – 2 January 2017
Through a competitive jury process, residents are chosen, invited to attend at no cost to themselves, except travel. Abundant, catered meals and comfortable, beautiful lodgings are provided in a scenic location in Columbia County, New York. Omi is two hours north of New York City by train.
