The Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) is currently accepting entries in its 2016 Design Awards competition, for the best work in Australia across a wide range of disciplines. The competition is open for projects printed, published or installed between 1st July 2015 and 30th June 2016 in ten (10) professional and five (5) student categories. Finalists will be awarded with a certificate and the best entries, with trophies.

The AGDA Design Awards 2015 competition has recently opened for submissions, to recognize and document the best work happening in Australia and New Zealand. Starting this year the AGDA Design Awards will be held annually. The competition is open for submissions in fifteen (15) main categories five (5) of which are dedicated to Student work. The competition jury, consisting of noted and talented, international and local creatives will select and award the best work with trophies and certificates, with finalists being announced on 1st September 2015.

The Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) has opened the 2014 Australian Design Biennale Awards for entries from Australia and other countries. Since 1992, the AGDA Design Awards have been Australia’s barometer for creative excellence. The awards have grown inexorably across the event’s twenty year history, much like the organization itself. This year the awards have been given a thorough shakeup, to be more relevant to how we work in today’s environment.

The Call for Entries for the 2013 Australian Poster Biennale has recently been announced. The theme has been set to: “A mother’s life is precious”. Entrants are invited to be inspired and interpret this theme in any way they wish. The Australian Poster Biennale is an event that was previously known as the AGDA Poster Annual. It has been transformed, renamed and it will repeat biennially from now on. The Call for Entries is open to both professionals and students from any field of design. Entries may be submitted on an individual, collective (i.e. studio/agency) or collaborative basis.
