The On Paper organization has launched its 4th annual International Printmaking Award and is currently accepting entries for 2018. The competition has been created to promote the art of printmaking and connect printmakers around the world. One award of 1000 Euro will be awarded to the the winning artist. There’s also a second prize of 300 Euro and 100 sheets of eco-friendly Awagami Factory paper – worth 500 Euro. The shortlisted artists will have their work exhibited in the Spike Print Studio at Spike Island, Bristol (UK), in summer 2018.

The shortlisted artists will have their work exhibited at the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative, in Chicago, USA, in July 2017.

OnPaper, an organization based in Barcelona, launches its 2nd annual International Printmaking Award contest and currently accepts entries for 2016. The aim is to promote the art of printmaking and developing relationships between artists around the world. The contest is open to everyone and the main prize is 1,000 Euro. This year OnPaper is collaborating with The Glasgow Print Studio, to exhibit the finalists of the 2016 contest in the foyer exhibition space in Trongate 103, Glasgow, Scotland.
