The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) Student Design Competition, now in its 22nd year, is open to all undergraduate college students.
Geared toward college-level students involved in retail design and planning, visual merchandising, interior design, and branding programs, PAVE 2016 invites participants to explore a new health and wellness design concept for future Kroger Marketplace stores.
Cash prizes include: 1st place: $5,000, 2nd place: $2,500 3rd place: $1,500, plus the Student’s School has an opportunity to win a scholarship.
The competition’s design challenges consist of a visual merchandising category and a store design category, providing an excellent opportunity for students to obtain real-life retail design experience.
Two design challenges are available for students to participate in:
- 2016 Store Design Challenge
- 2016 Visual Merchandising Challenge
Students may only enter one category, either the visual merchandising category or the store design category.
