PDN Curator Awards is searching for outstanding and undiscovered photography.
One artist in each category will be awarded participation in an exclusive gallery show held in New York, New York during the summer of 2010. In addition, the selected artists will be featured in a print gallery in PDN’s June issue – which has an additional print distribution to photography industry creatives – and their images will also be reproduced in a PDN Web gallery. The winner of each category will receive a Moab Chinle Portfolio.
Objective
Submit your photographs in the following categories:
- Portraits/Nudes
- Installation/Still life
- Abstract/Mixed Media
- Nature/Street Photography
- Photo Essay/Reportage
- Student Work
Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality and effectiveness in expressing the contest theme.
Prizes

Winners will be published in the June 2010 issue of PDN.
Rules
- Anyone except employees of Nielsen and their families may enter the competition.
- A contest entry may consist of one image, or a photo series.
- You may enter multiple times.
- Images formatted as a JPEG measuring at least 1,000 pixels on its long dimension are preferred.
- Images may be color profiled in sRGB, Adobe-1998 or not color-managed.

To enter your submissions electronically, please visit the official website and register. Once the registration process has been completed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Simply log in to the PDN Curator Awards contest Site, and follow the online instructions to upload images from your computer.
Entry fee
- $35 per image
- $50 per series
Submissions received after 8 March 2010 will be subject to an additional late fee of $10 (through extended deadline period ending 22 March 2010).
