Agugiaro & Figna, together with the ARD&NT Institute (Politecnico di Milano and Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera) is hosting the “Storie di Farina” international competition.
The competition’s scope is to enhance innovation in the designing, planning and realization of spaces for the production and sale of bread, by expressing regenerating potentials and stimulating the development with focus on the relationship between project, architecture and new lifestyle and consumption habits — basically design the new spaces for bread.
A total of 7,500 Euro will be awarded, which will be divided into three prizes. The 1st prize is 3,500 Euro.
Projects of bakeries and spaces destined to the preparation and production of bread with in-house consumption or takeaway, completed between 1st September 2016 and 1st October 2018, are eligible for submission.
The competition is open to architects, contractors, entrepreneurs, design studios and designers from contract companies, who are engaged in the designing, planning and building of bakeries and spaces intended for the production and sale of bread.
Participation is free and open to both persons or groups.
