As part of the 19th Treviso Comic Book Festival edition (TCBF 2022), Associazione Fumetti in Treviso announces the International Contest for New Comic Authors 2022.
The International Contest for New Comic Authors 2022’s theme is Next Generation.
Three main prizes will be awarded in 2022. 500 Euro are reserved for the First and Second prize each, and 200 Euro for the Third prize.
The Contest addresses all beginner comic authors of legal age who want to test their skills and try to create a comic story.
In order to participate in the contest, each participant (or group of participants) is required to submit a comic story about this year’s theme within the deadline following the steps explained in the Rules on the official website.
The artwork must be a comic story of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 pages, and has to be submitted in the digital PDF format. Participants have full artistic freedom in the interpretation of the theme as well as in the choice of drawing techniques and coloring styles.
The submitted artwork can be black and white or in color.
Entry to the competition is free. Participation in the competition automatically implies acceptance of the contest’s regulations.
