2016 BlueCat Screenplay Competition

The BlueCat Screenplay Competition is calling for original and unpublished, feature and short screenplays for 2016, from any part of the world.

All screenwriters, regardless of age, are invited to submit their work(s) of any genre.

Since 1998, the BlueCat Screenplay Competition has developed and discovered thousands of writers through our commitment to providing written feedback to all entrants and substantial cash awards to the best screenplays. The Grand Prize in the Feature Category is $15,000 and the Grand Prize in the Shorts Category is $10,000.

Feature screenplays must be between 65 and 125 pages. Short screenplays must be between 1 and 49 pages.

Entries are judged on Story, Characterization, Dialogue, Description, Clarity, and Originality.

The BlueCat Screenplay Competition is founded by Gordy Hoffman.
