BlueCat Screenplay Competition 2017

The BlueCat Screenplay Competition is calling for original and unpublished, feature and short screenplays, as well as pilot scripts for 2017, from all around the world.

All screenwriters, regardless of age, are invited to submit their work(s) of any genre.

Since 1998, the BlueCat Screenplay Competition has developed and discovered thousands of writers through our commitment to providing written feedback to all entrants and substantial cash awards to the best screenplays. The Grand Prize in the Feature Category is $10,000 and the Grand Prize in the Shorts Category is $5,000. The Pilot Winner of the 2017 Competition will receive $5,000.

Feature screenplays must be between 65-125 pages in length, short screenplays must be between 1-49 pages and pilot scripts – between 20-90 pages.

All entries must be in English, be original, and the sole property of the applicant(s).

There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit.

The BlueCat Screenplay Competition is founded by Gordy Hoffman.
