The International Uranium Film Festival “URÂNIO EM MOVI(E)MENTO” takes place every year in the City of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Festival is now open for film submissions for 2013.
This Festival accepts films about the whole nuclear fuel chain, about radioactivity, radioactive elements, atomic bombs about the environmental and health risks of uranium exploration, mining and processing, about nuclear medicine and nuclear waste.

The 3rd International Uranium Film Festival is Now Open for Submissions!
The International Uranium Film Festival wants to inform the global societies about the whole nuclear fuel chain, about the dangers of radioactivity, about the environmental and health risks of uranium exploration, mining, processing and about nuclear waste.
The Festival is accepting independent short films, documentaries, movies, animated films and music clips/videos, in the following formats for finalists: 35mm, Beta analog, Blu-Ray, MiniDV, DVD.
Non-Portuguese language films should be subtitled in English, Spanish or French or German. Additionally, all entrants must provide the festival with a script in German, English, Spanish or French. (Exceptions are possible.)
The International Uranium Film Festival awards the best films addressing the nuclear issue and the radioactive risks: Two Jury Awards for the best Short and the best Feature. The international jury is created by cinema experts, scientists, educators, journalists and activists.
