The Movin’On Sustainable Mobility Fund has announced the 2023 edition of its annual Movin’On Challenge Design competition — to celebrate, promote, publicize and give visibility to original creative thinking and innovation in mobility design.
The 2023 theme is: Balancing Sustainability — Design a disruptive mobility solution that balances the three recognized pillars of Sustainability: People, Profit and Planet.
In addition to being featured on the Movin’On Challenge Design site, the three winning entries and the recipients of Judges’ Awards are announced in a global communications release and are also recognized during the 2023 Movin’On Summit in June. The winners are also invited to participate in a review of their design portfolios by members of the jury and leading international designers.
Artists, designers, engineers, architects, city planners and creatives worldwide are invited to enter either in teams or individually.
Entries for 2023 should present a vivid example of safe and efficient mobility that meets end user expectations and supports a viable business model for movement of people in an environmentally friendly manner.
Movin’On Challenge Design has become widely recognized as one of the world’s premier global mobility design competitions. Created by Michelin in 2001 to encourage and recognize creative design around the world, the program has received more than 14,000 entries from 134 countries since its inception. The Movin’On Challenge Design is now a key component of the annual Movin’On Global Sustainable Mobility Summit and reinforces the significance of design in mobility transformation. The activities of Challenge Design are financially supported by Michelin.
More information about the theme for 2023 are available on the official website.
