Trieste Contemporanea is calling for applications for the 2022 Young European Artist Trieste Contemporanea (YEATC) Award.
Since 1999, the Trieste Contemporanea rewards the YEATC Award to a young artist with the aim of promoting her or his work on the international art scene.
The YEATC Award gives the overall winner the opportunity of conceiving and developing a solo exhibition at Studio Tommaseo in Trieste, Italy — due to be held in 2023.
The call is open to young artists under the age of 30 (born after 10 July 1992) and born in one of the following countries: Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
Every participant submits an updated portfolio. The portfolio should be composed by images (of at last 5 recent works, with captions and brief descriptions), a CV, an artistic statement.
All eligible applications will be examined by a judging committee comprising experts and curators of contemporary art from Central Eastern Europe.
Please find further details and submit applications on the official website.
