The DuPont Packaging Awards is the industry’s longest running, independently judged global packaging awards program honoring packaging materials, processes, technology and service innovations. Fundacja Edukacji Wizualnej (the Foundation of Visual Education) is inviting photographers worldwide to submit projects and enter the Grand Prix Fotofestiwal 2013 Competition. The aim of the Competition is to select the most interesting projects which will be presented in the Grand Prix Programme of the 12th International Festival of Photography in Łódź – Fotofestiwal 2013. Seven finalists will have a chance to participate in the Festival’s exhibition and one winner will be awarded with a prize of 10.000 PLN – about 2.500 Euro. All selected pictures will be exhibited during the 12th edition of the Fotofestiwal between 6th and 16th June, 2013.

The Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival (CCI-IFF) is now accepting submissions for its 2013 event, to be held 18-21 July during Comic-Con International at the San Diego Convention Center. In 2013, the Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival (“CCI: IFF”) celebrates it’s ninth year as a juried event. Submitted films must be no longer than 95 minutes in length and must have a completion date within the last two (2) years (2010-2012). One submission per filmmaker is allowed.

The Global Arctic Awards Photography contest 2012 is open to all photographers around the world. The theme of the contest is Arctic and North pictures. The contestants works will represent the beautiful variety of the North nature and wildlife, depict the peculiarities of the “icy” world of the Arctic, and narrate unforgettable photo stories about the culture, life and centuries-old customs of the North minorities. For the first time in Russia the project is supported by the accreditation of the international photographic associations: FIAP, PSA, UPI.
