Good Design Australia is calling for entries to the 2014 Good Design Awards (formerly the Australian International Design Awards) and invites you to be part of the biggest celebration of design and innovation for 2014.
Under the new banner of the Good Design Awards, the 2014 program aims to recognize top quality amongst the best products and services on Australian and international markets under 15 main categories.
For more than five decades, the Good Design Awards program has promoted the very best in innovation and creativity, on local turf and the global stage.
The Good Design Awards cover the broadest spectrum of design accolades offered in the world – from the latest cars on our roads, cutting-edge medical equipment, furniture, heavy engineering and mining equipment, to sports gear and everyday products such as toasters, televisions and kitchen utensils. The Good Design Awards also includes rapidly expanding areas such as Service Design and Design Strategy, as well as products in the digital space.
Entries are evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Form
- Function
- Safety
- Sustainability
- Quality
- Commerciality
- Innovation
Finalists in the 2014 Good Design Awards will be eligible to take part in a number of national and international exhibitions that showcase the most innovative products.
Good Design Awards 2014 Entry Fees
Entry fees start from $450 AUD + GST and vary depending on the competition category. If you apply before 28 February 2014 you’ll receive an Early Bird Discount of 20%!
