The winner of the The Alexia Professional Grant will receive $20,000 to produce his or her proposed story. The first place winner of The Alexia Student Grant will receive a cash grant of $1,000 to produce the proposed story and funding for a semester at Syracuse University. The Foundation provides educational opportunities and cash grants to help students produce bodies of work that share its goals of promoting world peace and cultural understanding. Student are encouraged to consider projects that explore cultural understanding in or near their local community. Grants are given for First Place, Second Place and, at judges’ discretion, Award(s) of Excellence and vary between undergraduate and graduate students.]]></description>
